Once the polio virus crippled all nations with a paralyzing fear,

 It had no respect for borders, as it wandered far and near,

So Rotary decided to take a hand and help the world cope,

And this “thoughtful” little angel has witnessed the rise of hope

With each child that stands to greet the day, his legs unfurled,

Walking strong and straight,
and part of a Polio Free World!
